The Vital Spark Conference 2007

An International heritage interpretation conference will be held in Aviemore from 30th September to 3rd October this year as part of the Year of Highland culture.  Subsidised places for community groups are available.

2007 Scottish Rural Services Conference

The 2007 Scottish Rural Services Conference 06-07 March in An Lanntair, Stornoway offers free bus and ferry from Inverness return with subsidised accommodation for two nights for a maximum of 50 people.  For Western Isles delegates who have to travel, the subsidised accommodation deal is still available. And if it costs you more than £50 to get to Inverness, you can apply for a further travel bursary.

Voluntary Arts Scotland's first national conference

The conference is aimed at anyone who gives up their time to organise arts, crafts or heritage activities; any paid staff who help run such activities; local authority arts officers; arts and crafts practitioners - and anyone else who feels they would benefit from discussing issues which arise in the world of 'cultural volunteering.'
