Launch of Anthology of Scots and Irish Gaelic Poetry

The first annual anthology of contemporary Scottish and Irish Gaelic poetry, An Guth 1, will be launched at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Isle of Skye, on Thursday 29th January at 19.00hrs.

An Guth 1 is edited by Rody Gorman, who has provided glosses or translations of the poems anthologised, and is published jointly by Coiscéim, Dublin and An Guth, Isle of Skye, with assistance from the Columba Initiative. It features poems by Meg Bateman, Myles Campbell, Michael Davitt, Louis de Paor, Anne Frater, Donald McAulay, Aonghas MacNeacail, Áine Ní Ghlinn, Liam Ó Muirthile, Gabriel Rosenstock, Derick Thomson and others and is available from An Guth, Cruard, Isle Ornsay, Isle of Skye, IV43 8QS, ISBN 0-9545926-0-3, £7.
