Tickets have sold out to the Tartan Heart Festival at Belladrum on 14th August 2004 but if you’re a disappointed purchaser or you don’t need your tickets any longer, the message board on the festival web site is providing an informal ticket exchange.

Festival organisers have suggested to those still wanting tickets to the sold-out event to leave a message on the board at www.belladrum.co.uk Meanwhile sellers are also using the board to offload their tickets.          

“We are very happy for people who have sadly been unable to get tickets to acquire them in this way, ” said Joe Gibbs, organiser of the festival which will bring up to 2,000 people to the Italian Gardens at Belladrum, By Beauly, Inverness-shire

Linda Gail Lewis and the Lewis Three will be joined at the festival by a galaxy of Scottish musical talent including: The Grim Northern Social; The Andy Gunn Band and king of Northern soul Geno Washington; Karen Matheson and Donald Shaw of Capercaillie; ex Love & Money balladeer James Grant; The Peatbog Faeries; David Ogilvy and the melodic harmonies and rythmns of the Caribbean coast of Columbia in the shape of Toto La Momposina.Gates open at 9.00 AM on 14th August and music runs from 11.00 AM to midnight. Free camping is available from 13th – 15th August. Besides music, there will be street theatre, stalls, food and drink, alternative therapies and dance.
