Lews Castle College in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, is running art and design courses in Uist.

Places are still available on the Diploma in Art & Design course. This is an introduction to new skills in both fine art and design which will encourage you to develop your own creative potential. The course covers 12 SQA units, resulting in an exciting and varied portfolio of art work. The start date for the course is 30 August 2004.

Also available is a Certificate in Higher Education in Fine Art. This is an opportunity to improve skills and further your art practice on this innovative new course. With a strong environmental focus, the course will develop your skills in a range of fine art disciplines and explore the creative use of new technology. This course will start on September 20 2004.
