The ever-popular duo Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain will be rounding off their current Scottish tour in Shetland, with two Arts Trust promoted dates at the beginning of October.

On Friday the 1st October they will be performing in the Symbister Hall, Whalsay and on Saturday the 2nd October they will be appearing at the Bressay Hall in Bressay.

The duo have just released their greatest hits album and the tour is aimed at promoting the CD, so expect many of their best known tunes and sets to be featured in the programme, along with the usual barrel full of stories and laughs.

Also appearing on the bill are Whalsay fiddler Gibby Hutchison and Brian Gear and Violet Tulloch, who will be appearing in both Whalsay and Bressay, and young singer / songwriter Jillian Isbister who will be in Bressay only. Both concerts will be followed by a dance.

Tickets for the concerts, priced £10 and £7, will be on sale from Friday 17th September at High Level Music, Lerwick, Angus Irvine’s Shop in Whalsay and the Mail Shop in Bressay.
