From the contemporary dance company that brought you The Birdcatcher and The
Bright-Eyed Mariner, comes this playful, fun and imaginative performance which was devised especially for children aged from 3 to 6 and their families.

Huff Puff and Away! is choreographed by Claire Pençak, using an original dance language which will give young children their first taste of contemporary dance, and features original  tunes and songs written and performed live on stage by Rory McLeod,  with his natural troubadour’s talent for weaving magical, musical storytelling spells.

The dancers, Tara Hodgson and Michael Scott, twist and turn, fall and float, within an enchanting world created by visual artist Brian Hartley.

Tabula Rasa Dance Company is an Edinburgh-based company founded by dancer/choreographer Claire Pençak in 1999. Past productions include One Crowded Hour (2001), The Birdcatcher (2002), Vis a Vis (2003) and The Bright-Eyed Mariner (2004).

Huff Puff and Away! is on tour across the UK from 6 October to 6 November 2004.
