SILENCE - BRIDGING THE GAP is a competition for five big screen documentary shorts. The closing date for entries is 1 October 2004.

The competition open to all talented, visionary and frustrated filmmakers based in Scotland.

10 proposals will be selected for a development period of 6 weeks and pitched to a panel of experts. 5 10-minute digital documentaries on the theme of SILENCE will be commissioned with a budget of 16K (8K cash, 8K production facilities), intended for distribution in cinemas and festivals.
