The Craigmonie Centre is proud to announce that Dave Smith and Euan Martin’s wonderful new comedy play entitled; ‘Who Bares, Wins’, based on the exploits of the Naked Rambler, will be appearing in the fantastic 200 seat theatre which is part of the community facilities based in Glen Urquhart High School, Drumnadrochit on Wednesday 15 December 2004.
When asked how the play came to be booked at the Craigmonie Centre, which is the community facility based in Glen Urquhart High School, Centre Co-ordinator Fran Davidson said:
‘When I was approached about promoting ‘Who Bares Wins’ at the Craigmonie Centre,
I hear heard wonderful reviews of the Writers’ and Directors’ previous work including ‘The Accidental Death of an Accordionist’ and ‘The Wedding’. Of course the first thing that I did considering the subject matter of ‘Who Bares Wins’ was to speak to the writers about exactly how they would portray the ‘naked’ in the Naked Rambler!’
‘I was assured that the play was most definitely a comedy, and although nudity would be addressed, there was nothing in the play that could be called offensive. I have, however made sure that all publicity I produce points out that the production contains some (all too brief!) male nudity, and I will ask anyone who is thinking of attending the performance to make their own decision as to whether or not this production is suitable for them – so Audience and Parental Discretion is requested!’
‘Like most things to do with male nudity, it seems to be a lot of fuss about nothing’
There is some more great news for people wanting to see this play, as the Craigmonie Centre want everyone to know that they can now buy tickets in advance to see ‘Who Bares Wins’ online by logging onto www.thebooth.co.uk.
