The Scottish Arts Council is offering grants of £5,000 to visual artists, in addition to the advertised Creative Development grants of £100-£2,000 (Guide to Funds Booklet).  The Creative Development Funding Awards at this level are intended to support the costs involved in research and creative development.  Proposals must be ambitious and must clearly demonstrate a commitment to developing work conceptually and technically.  Budgets must be appropriate to the proposal and substantiated.   The application procedure is as usual with application forms and application guidance for individuals available from the Scottish Arts Council’s website at www.scottisharts.org.uk and the SAC Help Desk, E-mail: help.desk@scottisharts.org.uk  Tel: 0845 603 6000.
