An Tobar's Art and Science Week will run from Mon 24 - Friday 28th January.

This  week has come about as a result of An Tobar's 2004 Artist in Residence Anne Devine being commissioned by local ornithologist Paul Haworth to make some drawings from his skull collection. An Tobar and local charity Highland Renewal realised that this was too good a resource not to share so they created Art and Science Week and invited local interest groups and schools to come to the centre. Highland Renewal have offered the services of their Education Officer Linda McLaren  to be on hand to talk people through the collection. Whilst artist Anne Devine will lead drawing workshops using the collection as a focus. An Tobar are very grateful to have the support of MESS ( Mull and Iona Environmental Solutions), Highland Renewal and Trish and Paul Haworth for this project.
