3 or 4 nights a week, Channel 4's 3 Minute Wonder slot at 7.55pm offers young and emerging filmmakers the chance to be commissioned for a prime time slot. 3 Minute Wonder shows a different series each week - a series usually being made up of 4 programmes - and comes with a fixed commissioning budget. C4 want to encourage new styles of filmmaking but above all films should be engaging and inventive in form.

The 3 Minute Wonder Commissioner is coming to the Highlands & Islands in July to explain what kind of work she's looking for, to show some of the films that have recently been screened, and answer questions on how YOU can get your work seen on C4 or develop ideas for the 3 Minute Wonder slot.
