Showing at Tobermory Art on Isle of Mull from 14th June - 2nd July is Heads and Tails, an exhibition of new work by Mull-based artist Julie Thompson.

Julie Thomson was born and brought up in Glasgow where she achieved an Honours Degree at Glasgow School of Art. After Art School she moved to Mull where she has lived and worked ever since. Julie is drawn to examine intimately the personality of the animals she sees around her. This exhibition is full of momentary glimpses of their lives and character.

Tobermory Art is a beautiful new gallery for the sale of excellent and unique art, featuring the work of local artists and those from much further afield. Each month this year will feature a special exhibition of the work of a particular artist as well as a range of exhibits from other painters, ceramicists, photographers, etc, selected by the gallery's owner, Alicia Hendrick.
