A Gaelic television series will take to the road next month.
Comadaidh Oir (Comedy Gold), to be screened in November, is aimed at providing a platform for new Gaelic talent.
Aspiring comedy writers will be set the task of producing a comedy sketch, which will then be performed by three professional actors to a live show.
All six writers will compete in front of a live audience to see which sketch is voted the best.
The show will visit Edinburgh, Glasgow, Skye, Berneray, Benbecula and Barra.
The Western Isles venues are Berneray Community Centre on 13 August, Lionacleit School Theatre, Balivanich on 16 August and Castlebay community centre in Barra on 19 August.
