Male Voices Required for Talking Books
16 August 2005

The RNIB Talking Book service provides blind and partially sighted people with the largest stock of audio books in the UK. RNIB Scotland are currently recruiting professional actors to read Scottish titles in their Glasgow studios. Forthcoming books include:

The Cutting Room – Louise Welsh
In Another Light – Andrew Greig

They would like to invite applications from professional actors, which should include a c.v. and CD of your voice. The CD must include approx. 5 minutes reading of any kind of adult fiction, including both narrative and dialogue (preferably no adverts!) Professional recordings are not necessary. Potential readers will be invited for interviews/auditions.

Please send applications to: Glenda Carson, RNIB Scotland, 17 Gullane Street, Partick, G11 6AH. For further info call 0141 337 2955 or e-mail: Glenda.Carson@rnib.org.uk
