The 9-piece longstanding, Edinburgh based outfit La Boum! are about to hit the Highlands on 26 November 2005 with their floor filling brew of world music.

Described by The List as “The steamiest dance band north of the rainforest” La Boum! draws inspiration from all over the world. African influences mesh with rich urban and folk traditions of Scotland. Their sound is a big one. The 9-piece is distinguished by the guitar and voice of Tom Salter. Tom’s lead vocal is complemented by a horn section and 3 piece vocal section, the Wee Frees.
