Sense Scotland invites submissions from artists working in any medium for the 7th Helen Keller International Award.
The competition is open to any artist with the only criterion being that work submitted must challenge perceptions of deaf/blindness.
A panel of independent judges will carry out judging and the identity of artists will remain undisclosed until judging is complete.
The winner of the Helen Keller International Award will receive a trophy and cheque for £1500.
Two highly commended entries will each receive a certificate and cheque for £200.
Presentation of the award will take place in January 2007, when work submitted to the competition will be exhibited in Collins Gallery, Glasgow.
Artists wishing to submit work to the competion must complete an entry form, which can be obtained either online at www.sensescotland.org.uk/helenkeller

Friday 28 April 2006 at 5pm.
In order for your entry to be considered by the judging panel, Sense Scotland must be in receipt of finished artwork by 1st September 2006.
