The Dangerfields - 'Born to Rock' Scottish Tour
The Dangerfields - 'Born to Rock' Scottish Tour
23 January 2006

Belfast Punk Rockers The Dangerfields are returning to Scotland as part of a UK tour put together to promote debut album ‘Born To Rock’ released through Rock N’ Roll Records.

The Dangerfields founder member, drummer & vocalist, Andrew Griswold tells about the bands anticipation for this tour “'Born To Rock' is going down a storm and we just can't wait to hit the road again!”

‘Born To Rock’ was first previewed by Iron Maiden legend Bruce Dickinson on his BBC 6 Music Rock Show at the end of 2005 when he invited The Dangerfields into the studio.

Dickinson first came in to contact with the band in May 2004 during Music Live in Belfast when he asked The Dangerfields to open for Therapy? and Funeral For A Friend.

Andrew Griswold commented “Bruce has been really good to us. He loves our album and has played us on his show a few times. I guess, like us, he's sick of the relentless barrage of identikit crybaby fashion punk!”

Griswold continued by mentioning the recent airplay on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show “Zane was cool too 'Rock Club' has now been heard by at least a billion Snow Patrol fans!”

The tour of Scotland sees The Dangerfields take in the following dates:

Feb. 3rd - 8:30 PM Edge, Falkirk
Feb. 4th – 8.00 PM Moorings Bar, Aberdeen

Support on all dates is provided by The Dead End Sluts who have been together for over 3 years and have enjoyed highlights such as airplay by Total Rock Radio and performances at the Tattoo Convention in Derry and Distortion Project in Belfast.

The Dead End Sluts have built up a fanatic following of fans due to their trademark sound of roaring distortion, thumping bass lines and crashing drums topped off by some piano.
