Orkney Stained Glass is offering an opportunity for an Art Residency, at our purpose built workshop, on the beautiful Orkney Island of Shapinsay, between 12th June and 17th July 2006.

Although we are not offering a fee for this residency, we will provide accommodation and all meals for the duration of the residency, dedicated workshop space, materials, and time for developing skills in glass crafting.

We would envisage that the successful person would work with the community on a variety of projects, culminating in an art exhibition of work produced over the residency, to be viewed as part of the Shapinsay Smithy Sea Fest.
