Call for Entries - Are you an artist aged 50 or over and living in the UK?

The UK’s first national visual art prize for artists aged 50 or over is now open for entries. 50 over 50 is promoting the best in contemporary visual arts practice and aims to highlight excellence and innovation in the practice of older British artists.

50 works of art will be selected by open submission to feature in an exhibition at the University of Brighton Gallery in July 2006.

Artworks must have been created by you, since January 2004 and since your fiftieth birthday.

A prize of £5000 will be awarded to the overall winner.

Closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday 28 April 2006
