Illicit is a fast-paced comedy show about hard-nosed ambition – and whisky! Scotching the rumour that business start-up is singularly dull, Illicit neatly blurs the boundaries between fantasy and reality with a deluxe blend of interactive comedy, mission statements and technical wizardry – 100% proof that the show will be a barrel of laughs!

Illicit is a cautionary tale of one woman’s descent into business - a mature, hour-long drama, to be enjoyed and savoured in good company!

Illicit is written and directed by Euan Martin and Dave Smith from Moray-based Right Lines Productions. In the last few years, the writers have been responsible for popular theatre shows such as “Who Bares Wins”, “The Accidental Death of an Accordionist”, “The Wedding” and most recently “Watching Bluebottles.”

This production has been commissioned by HIE Moray and timed to premier at Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival.
