Radiotones live in Perth and Aberdeen
12 May 2006

Pioneering alt.bluesers Radiotones have two shows lined-up taking them to Perth and Aberdeen at the beginning of June 2006.

The band is honoured to be playing the re-opening of Fair City's favourite tour venue, The Tams (formerly the Twa Tams), Scott Street, Perth on Thursday 1 June 2006. (ticket price tba, doors 8pm)

This is followed on Saturday 3 June 2006 with a visit to another of the band's favourite haunts, Café Drummond, Belmont Street, Aberdeen. (£3 on the door, 9pm)

Radiotones fans can expect to hear some new material as frontman Dave Arcari has been busy writing new material over the last few months while making a name for himself as a solo artist.

He comments: "Although I'm busy with solo touring and recording, Radiotones is very much alive and kicking and the band will be appearing at festivals and venues across the UK over the summer period."

Indeed, plans are also afoot for the band to start recording a follow-up to their last studio album Bound to Ride once the new material has been demo'd on the live stage.
