Another Scottish museum has been successful in applying for an Association of Independent Museums Sustainability Fund grant. Ullapool Museum recently received a grant of £5,000 which will go towards funding a 1-year Museum Development Officer post, for which 50% has already been awarded by SMC under our main grants programme. The Sustainability Scheme, made possible by the generosity of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, aims to assist medium and smaller-sized AIM members to improve their medium and long-term financial viability.
