Artists, gallery owners, curators, artsworkers, arts officers and arts educators are invited to the Highlands & Islands Visual Arts Gathering to be held on 13 &14 November 2006 at the MacPhail Centre in Ullapool.
Organised by HI~Arts, with funding from Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the Scottish Arts Council, this is an opportunity to shape the future of the Visual Arts in the Highlands and Islands.
What’s it about:
• to share knowledge and experience of the many exciting and innovative developments in the visual arts across the Highlands and Islands and beyond
• to make connections and build networks
• to shape an agenda for further development in the visual arts in 2007 and thereafter
Those taking part include Frances Walker, Roxane Permar (Veer North, Shetland), Rachel Skene (Timespan, Helmsdale), Clive Gillman (DCA, Dundee), Claudia Zeiske (Deveron Arts, Huntly), Anne Douglas (On the Edge, Aberdeen), Marc Yeats (Artist / Composer, Isle of Skye) and many more.
