Bella 2007 tickets on sale
Bella 2007 tickets on sale
09 October 2006

Tickets to the Highlands music and arts festival, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival ’07 (Beauly, Inverness-shire), have gone on sale on-line and over-the-counter. The festival takes place 10th & 11th August 2007; tickets are weekend only and cost £70 which includes parking and camping. Tickets for children under 12 are free (maximum three per adult).

Capacity at the increasingly popular family-friendly event will remain the same at 11,000 in 2007. “We sense the festival is reaching its natural size in terms of the site and of the feel of the event and in terms of wanting to keep it as an event based around the Highland community,” said festival director Joe Gibbs

“However, with the event’s reputation rapidly growing in stature, not increasing our capacity will inevitably put pressure on ticket availability so we would urge family festival-goers to buy early - around 2000 of the event’s ’06 attendance were children under 12. Tickets to Bella will make great Christmas presents and we will be putting a Christmas card download on the web site.”

The festival has been nominated for three awards in the UK Festival Awards 2006 – Best Small Festival, Best Family Festival and the Shelter Award for Social Responsibility. Festival-goers who vote at www.festivalawards.com before 16th October have a chance of winning a pair of tickets to all winning festivals at the awards plus tickets to the awards in London on 19th October.

Line-up announcements will be made in due course and a release of Saturday day tickets may be made nearer to the event. Information on Bella is available from www.tartanheartfestival.co.uk
