Arts & Business (A&B) Scotland, the national charity dedicated to encouraging new and sustainable arts and business relationships, today announced the appointment of two new business development managers Catriona Reynolds and Ciara Kenealy.

Reynolds has an arts background, coming to A&B from Scottish Opera where she was head of fundraising and sponsorship for seven years, leading on the development and implementation of fundraising strategies, working alongside partners such as the Edinburgh International Festival to secure the Bank of Scotland’s sponsorship of the Ring Cycle; the Bank’s largest ever arts commitment.

Reynolds said: “I am excited to be joining Arts & Business Scotland. I have long been aware of and admired its work, especially how A&B Scotland highlights the benefits that an association with the arts can bring to an ever wider business audience, and am greatly looking forward to playing my part in its continuing success”.

Kenealy has a commercial background, coming to A&B from BT Ireland where she was corporate account manager reporting to the banking sector account director, managing key accounts including Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank.

Kenealy said: “It’s with great pleasure that I join A&B and I greatly look forward to applying my knowledge of the commercial world to the arts sector.”
