Members of the Carducci String Quartet will join Nicola Eimer at Inverness Town House for the opening Inverness Chamber Music Society concert of 2007.

Recognised today as one of Europe's top young string quartets, The Carducci String Quartet has won prizes at no less than 6 International Chamber Music Competitions, including the Jury prize at this year's London International String Quartet Competition.

Nicola has previously delighted ICMS audiences as a member of the award winning Eimer Piano Trio who have played at numerous festivals throughout the UK and Europe.

The programme for this concert is:

SCHUBERT Piano Quintet D667 Trout

This concert is supported by Highland 2007.

The ICMS’s 2006/07 season will feature further concerts by Kungsbacka Piano Trio (14 February), Academia Wind Quintet Of Prague (12 March) and the Thistle Brass Ensemble (11 April).
