Versacoustic Tour
Versacoustic Tour
19 February 2007

Legendary Scottish singer/songwriter Eugene Kelly and one of Scotland’s hottest new bands, Bricolage, are the latest names to be added to the line up for the eagerly awaited Versacoustic Tour which will take place in a series of intimate venues throughout Scotland in March. Launched in December 2006 by Versa, the chilled continental style lager from Tennent’s Lager, Versacoustic is set to be one of the year’s hottest tickets and promises very special acoustic sets especially for fans.

The first stage of Versacoustic will kick off with performances from the brilliant My Latest Novel, Duglas T Stewart from BMX Bandits and Saint Judes Infirmary who will all play very special stripped back sets in great locations. The first gig will take place at The Bongo Club in Edinburgh on Monday 5th March, followed by The Seaforth Inn, Ullapool on Tuesday 6th March and The Tunnels in Aberdeen on Wednesday 7th March.

The next stage of Versacoustic will see Emma Pollock team up with Eugene Kelly and Lucky Luke for more of the same, only this time the tour will call at Fat Sams in Dundee on Tuesday 20th March and The Bongo Club on Wednesday 21st March. The tour will come to a close with special guest DJs Bricolage at The Goat in Glasgow on Thursday 22nd March.

Says Craig Harkness, Senior Brand Manager for Tennent’s: “I’m incredibly excited about Versacoustic, getting to see these acts in such intimate settings will be a real treat for fans. Versa is a lager for people who want something different and these one off shows will certainly give them that - expect some great performances with many surprises along the way”.
