WASPS is a Scotland-wide charitable organization dedicated to providing affordable working space to artists. Wasps, in conjunction with HI~Arts and the Inverness City Partnership, are very interested in working with local partners to identify demand from artists in Inverness and the surrounding area for studios in the City, as part of a Highland-wide strategy to support artists with their studio requirements.

Discussions are ongoing to explore the potential to create a studio building in Inverness supporting visual artists and crafts makers. These discussions are at an early stage, but as part of the process of making a case for development, we are keen to identify in detail the demand from artists in the area.
