A German film student documentary crew (Ralf & Stefan) are based in Taigh Chearsabhagh, are filming a documentary about returnees, new inhabitants and people who never went away from March 19th - April 24th 2007.

There is an opportunity for people to get involved and get valuable experience in production we are looking for up to 3 trainees to be attached to the crew, probably for a week each although shorter periods would also be possible. please contact me if you are at all interested for more details. trainees would gain experience in overall digital video production and sound recording in particular.

There will also be a series of 3 Writing the Vision story development evening workshops with Ralf Buecheler starting on Tuesday March 20th, 7pm at Taigh Chearsabhagh.

session 1: Talking about ideas, exploring possibilities, outlining "ideal film", planning research -- one or two weeks of research and taking photos--
session 2 (Tuesday April 3rd): progress meeting. Showing first draft to the others, talk the others through the film, decide about final content, order and layout of the script. Selecting photos.
session 3 (Tuesday April 17th TBC): participants arrive with a first "final version", final discussion, maybe presentation (evening)

Workshop places will be limited so booking is essential.
