The Watermill Children’s and Young People’s Book Festival, which will take place from 12 – 13 May 2007, will include talks by renowned children’s authors including Mairi Hedderwick (Katie Morag stories), Catherine MacPhail, Nicola Morgan, Keith Gray, Jamie Jauncey and Katie Grant. Sessions are aimed at ages 5 to teenage. There will also be a creative writing workshop for children led by award winning writer Linda Cracknell, storytime for 5-8 year olds led by Claire Hewitt and a session aimed at helping parents choose the right books for their children.
