The Skillset Scotland Training Fund is aiming to invest up to £90,000 developing skills in Scotland’s screen businesses over the course of 2007/8. In addition they aim to invest up to £80,000 in training bursaries for freelancers and sole traders. The Funding Programmes outline the Funds’ priorities for 2007, provide funding deadlines, and give advice on applications. The first deadline for Company Development – Training and Development in 2007 is
12pm on Monday 18 June, 2007.

Additionally, one company was successful in its bid for support to develop a bespoke HR and training plan, receiving an award of £10,000. They are currently in negotiations with 5 training providers to offer CPD training in Scotland in 2007.
