Promote YT (Scotland) is the national agency dedicated to the development of youth theatre in Scotland. The organisation achieves its aims through managing information services, advocating best practice, facilitating training events and producing the annual National Festival Youth Theatre.

To compliment the organisations established Board of Directors Promote YT (Scotland) are currently recruiting for additional Board Membership to diversify experience and development. The organisation is particularly keen to receive expressions of interest from individuals across Scotland who have:

• Local Authority experience.
• Experience of small scale / community based youth theatre arts.
• Membership of culturally diverse communities.
• Experience of living with a disability.

Board membership carries an average commitment of six meetings per year with an additional weekend retreat and expenses are paid to cover basic travel costs.
