Have you made a short film? Would you love to see your film screened in the cinema? Cinemagic is looking for imaginative and original films made by young people to be screened as part of the 2007 Cinemagic Young Filmmaker competition which takes place in Belfast from 16 Nov - 2 Dec. Cinemagic Young Filmmaker is searching for films, of any genre, made by budding young filmmakers aged 25 and under from the UK and Ireland. The competition will be split into three different age categories; under 15’s, 15-17 years; and 18-25 years.
The winning entries in the Cinemagic Young Filmmaker 2007 competition will be screened at the Cinemagic World Screen Festival for Young People in November 2007, on First Light Movies website (www.firstlightmovies.com ) and both organisations will champion the winning films and enter them into other film competitions throughout the world. The deadline for entries is Friday 2 November - please send a VHS or DVD copy of your film with a completed entry form. Films should be no longer than 15 minutes.
