This is an opportunity for someone with a keen interest in current Scottish literature – and who may also be a writer – to take part, at editorial level, in the production and development of a lively Scottish literary magazine.

NORTHWORDS is a registered not-for-profit company which has been publishing Northwords Now three times yearly over the last two years, in Inverness. There is a 7000 print-run, distributed through libraries, bookshops, galleries and cafes across the Highlands and Islands and in towns and cities across Scotland.

We are supported by funding from HI-Arts, HIE and SAC; and by sale of adspace.

A sound infrastructure is in place, with an established calendar of key points of activity across the year.

The network of connection with contributors is strong and continues to develop.

This is a part-time opportunity and is compatible with other employment.
Fees are paid on an issue basis.
