The Scottish Arts Council and Glasgow Arts and Health Learing Network are holding a one day conference, "making it visible: exploring the role of creativity and imagination in health and wellbeing". The conference is part of the Artfull initiative and will be held at Platform at The Bridge, 1000 Westerhouse Road, Easterhouse, Glasgow on Thursday 22 November 2007. The event will feature inspiring speakers, facilitators and performers from the arts and health sectors.

§ The Medical Humanities with Professor Marek H Dominiczak, Glasgow Medical Humanities Unit
and Professor Margaret Smith, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde
§ Exploring Creativity with Project Ability, Art in Hospital and Creative Interventions in Health
§ Forum Theatre with Foxtrot Theatre Company
§ Art in Architecture and the Environment with HLM Architects (Glasgow) and Reiach and Hall Architects (Edinburgh)
§ Creating Connections in the Community through Creative Participation
§ The Art Therapies ‘Emotional Intelligence’ with Malcolm Learmonth, British Association of Art Therapists
§ Launch of the Participatory Arts Self Evaluation project led by the Mental Health Foundation
§ Music from Polyphony
§ Jim Tough, Acting Chief Executive, Scottish Arts Council

and Wellbeing, Scottish Government.
