Skill Up is Promote YT’s annual networking & skills development event for youth theatre practitioners, drama workers, teachers and anyone using performing arts in a youth theatre context. This year is will be held 11th-12th April 2008 at Perth Concert Hall.

This 2 day event offers individuals using drama & performing arts with young people the opportunity to develop skills, share their practice and experiences, network with colleagues and establish new contacts within the sector.

The event is for anyone with a vested interest in youth performing arts regardless of experience.

The cost of the weekend is £80.00. The price includes 2 skill development workshops, facilitated skill share sessions, “speed date style” networking sessions, lively sector debate & the opportunity to contribute your view in the shaping of the sector. The cost also includes a 2 course evening meal on the Friday evening and refreshments during the day.

There is a competitive accommodation deal available to all Skill Up Delegates, with a local hotel 5 minutes walk from the venue.
