Feel free to come to a TRIAL SESSION with any of the FALCON Project’s Social Activity Groups:

Art
Music
Drama

for adults with additional needs

and stay for 1 or as many sessions as you like!

Choose to be with 1 of the Groups, or if you prefer, you can “float” between more than 1 or all 3!

The FALCON Project has been established for 8 years and is part of the charity Volunteering Highland, based in Inverness. It supports adults with learning and physical disabilities and enables them to find greater independence and to reach their full potential.

For all 3 Social Activity Groups (Art, Music, Drama) the help required from Volunteers can be:

• Helping Group Members with social skills
• Helping Group Members to chat and to listen to other people
• Helping Group Members to become more creative

This can involve:

• Working in a large group all together or
• Working in a small group or
• One-to-one support
  (No personal care is required)

Do I have to have experience?

• No experience of Special Needs work is required
• No experience of Art, Music or Drama is required
• Any experience at all however is welcome!

What about my expenses?

All Volunteer travel to Groups and childcare is paid.

What are the Group Times?

Each Group meets weekly on Tuesday evenings in Inverness.  (For details please contact David Thomson - see foot of this article.) 

DRAMA GROUP
Productions have been staged in Inverness at the Town House, Spectrum Centre, Corbett Centre.

MUSIC GROUP
Performances have taken place at Eden Court and a wide range of Highland and Moray venues.

ART GROUP
Design and create 3D objects and collages; drawing, painting and a variety of 2D work in various media; making props and costumes for Productions.
