Ever wanted to grab and hold people’s attention the way an actor does? Did you ever wish you could project an air of confidence when you least feel like it?
In 2008, the internationally renowned Citizens’ Theatre commenced a brand new skills training programme focusing on confidence and presentation skills.
Although aimed primarily at the business world, these courses will benefit large businesses, the self-employed or simply those seeking to improve interview skills. Experienced theatre professionals at Glasgow’s historic theatre will impart their expertise using a dynamic and stimulating approach, based on proven drama techniques.
The next courses will run on 24 and 25 April 2008.
The Citizens’ Theatre provides a glamorous and alternative setting for corporate training, with staff imparting the tricks of the trade and providing a host of invaluable skills.
Following a successful pilot the theatre plans to continue courses throughout 2008/09. Organisations or individuals interested in courses should contact the theatre on 0141 418 6273 for available dates.
Louise Brown, course leader commented:
“We are delighted to launch these new training courses. The theatre world holds so much expertise in the areas of confidence and presentation - we know participants will truly benefit. We are very much looking forward to welcoming businesses and individuals into our theatre.”
