craftscotland has three very different opportunities to sell work and we are inviting applications from makers in Scotland.

craftscotland at Homes & Interiors Scotland 2008 - 29 to 31 August 2008

This year we will present a group of makers within a craftscotland stand who specialise in interior products. Each maker will have a 3m x 2m space and these spaces are being offered at a subsidised rate of £500 each (worth £1440) from 29 to 31 August. The event this year will be in a bigger hall with a special trade event on the Friday for architects, retailers and interior designers To encourage makers who have either recently graduated or have been in business for less than three years, two of these stands can be shared.

craftscotland Limited Edition Collection 2008 - 29 August to end February 2009

craftscotland is launching a limited edition collection of contemporary Scottish craft which will be for sale online through the craftscotland website for a period of six months. Applications are invited for proposed limited edition pieces. Each applicant can propose up to five pieces.


craftscotland at Collect 2009: The international art fair for contemporary objects - early 2009

Over the last five years Collect, organised by the Crafts Council, has built an outstanding reputation as the best fair in Europe presenting contemporary applied arts. craftscotland was accepted to exhibit at Collect 2008 and exhibited work by 13 leading and emerging artists. We are applying to exhibit at Collect 2009 to continue to showcase the best of Scottish craft and are inviting submissions from makers based in Scotland.
