Isle Of Skye four piece, Stereoglo, burst onto Scotland's music scene in the summer of 2005 playing their third gig to a festival crowd of 4000 alongside KT Tunstall and Idlewild. A mere 2 months into gigging Stereoglo beat 200 bands to win a slot on the main stage of the Belladrum Festival with Alabama3, Editors and El Presidente. After witnessing the bands rapid progress event organiser Mary McGowan hand picked Stereoglo to showcase the prestigious Scottish Style Awards naming them as 'Scotlands hottest unsigned band'. Radio 1's Edith Bowman and Vic Galloway were among the celebrity guests, their support and advice prompting Stereoglo to record their own four track EP. Radio play followed along with a sell out headline debut at Glasgows King Tuts receiving a top review and marking Stereoglo's arrival south of the Highlands. Information last updated July 2006.
