In this section we feature different film societies and groups in rural Scotland.

Each group has reacted to specific local circumstances to successfully stage regular DVD screenings. We asked them about their audience, the type of films they show, and how the programme is received, how they raised funds to obtain equipment and what difficulties they faced in setting up screenings.
