Wellcome Trust Arts Awards
The Wellcome Trust Arts Awards support imaginative and experimental arts projects that investigate biomedical science. All art forms are covered by the programme - dance, drama, performance arts, visual arts, music, film, craft, photography, creative writing or digital media - and the Trust invites applications for projects which engage adult audiences and/or young people. The deadlines for Small Grants are: 30 April, 30 July & 29 Oct 2010.

£1 million Amb:IT:ous start for Arts Organisations
Fifty-five Arts organisation have been accepted onto the Scottish Arts Council’s £1million Ambition Scotland programme. Members will receive support for digital development and sustainable change to encourage and improve levels of public engagement. Ambition Scotland will enhance organisation resilience and effectiveness whilst increasing the overall level of the digital technology base in the arts sector across Scotland.

UK Young Artists 2010 - Call for submissions going live soon
The first UK Young Artists event will take place in the Autumn of 2010. Artists who are selected to take part in this event could also be selected to represent the UK at the XV edition of the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean.

NESTA Age Unlimited Scotland
NESTA has launched a new programme in Scotland for 2010 called Age Unlimited. They are looking for people in their 50’s and 60’s in Scotland to come forward with new ideas that could be turned into live community projects which would improve the lives of older people (people in their 70’s, 80’s and above).
