I sit on the edge of my seat
It’s cold
I reflect what’s written on that sheet
I fold
Why can’t I just write down what I feel
It comes from the heart even though it’s not real
We’re over one hour

Took a walk today to see
the sun turn rosy on the leaves
I thought of you
I'm tougher than I seem,
but I crumbled down.
Came back early, had a drink
watched the news it made me think of things inside
and my conclusion was I'm safe with you.

Could this be something more,
than we planned than we saw
could this be a final call,
and will I know,
when time comes for me.
