From the city to your doorstep, the Company moves out on tour to get up-close-and personal with audiences throughout Scotland. Such intimate settings for this powerful repertoire will have you wrapped up in an evening of breathtaking entertainment.
Bringing together sections from five entrancing pieces including multi award-winning choreographer Stephen Petronio's high octane Ride The Beast, set to the soaring sound of Radiohead; Aria, a delicate and reflective duet from Krzysztof Pastor’s exuberant In Light and Shadow, performed to part of Bach's famous Goldberg Variations; Othello, and a powerful dance drama based on the Shakespeare play and choreographed by Scottish Ballet's founding director Peter Darrell. The evening will also include premieres from two Scottish Ballet dancers: Träume by Gregory Dean, with warm, melodic music from French artist Colleen, and Lull, a brand new work choreographed by Diana Loosmore, featuring music by the eastern European influenced ensemble Basquiat Strings.
