Loopallu announces first acts for 2008
19 June 2008

Now in its 4th year Loopallu has built up the reputation of being the best small festival around. We are delighted to confirm that the wonderful Janice Long (BBC Radio 2) will be joining us again in 2008 as our compare.

Fifes finest export and member of the Fence Collective King Creosote will be making his debut appearance at Loopallu’s big top this summer.

Joining him will be the one of the hottest bands around at the moment Liverpudlians The Rascals. One of the UK’s favourite festival bands The Levellers will also be headlining the Friday night after the release of their stunning new album ‘Letters from the Underground’

The Red Hot Chilli Pipers will get the tent jumping over the weekend along with ‘a hint of the bizarre’ from Cornwall’s 3 Daft Monkeys.

Situated in the pretty little fishing village of Ullapool on the shores Loch Broom in the North West of Scotland. Loopallu is a fantabulous weekend for all, with activities for all ages and music for all ears.

Fantastic local food and drink aplenty along with a host of fringe events throughout the village, promises to make Loopallu 2008 the must not miss event of the year.
