Are your teenagers at a loose end this summer? If so, why not sign them up for a fun, creative workshop.
Where? BBC Blast, the BBC's creative project for 13-19 year olds, will be in Inverness with the mobile creative learning space (aka the truck) on Saturday 19th July and Sunday 20th July.
What's on offer? Blast will be running two days of workshops at the Blast truck as part of the Inverness Highland Games at Bught Park. Young people can sign up for broadcasting-related workshops including Scriptwriting for TV, putting together and recording an 'as live' radio programme or learning how to record 'vox pops' for radio.
Budding filmmakers will have the opportunity to make a film in a day and have their work screened as part of the Blast showcase on Sunday at 4.30pm at the Blast truck.
There's a wide range of workshops to choose from including animation, comic art and even African drumming.
Dancers may be interested in the Blast Dance Off competition where groups of up to six dancers can enter and there's even a Blast urban opera workshop (no interest in opera or opera singing ability needed, just a love of Hip Hop or MC'ing!) at Eden Court Theatre.
