The workshops were open for 12 - 15 years old to come along on the day between 10am to 4pm to work alongside skilled artistic duo Dave Martin and Graeme Roger to create 'creative portaits' using images and sound technology.

After the workshop the images were showcased to the public, family and friends from 6-6.30pm in the Gallery.

A similar workshop is scheduled to take place at the Inverness Museum & Art Gallery (IMAG) on Saturday 30th August. Workshops are free but booking is essential since places are limited to eight per session. This year's Summer festival will be held from the 11th to the 22nd July and most events will be held in the Black Bridge Gallery (the old Motorcycle Shed on Grant Street).
