Belladrum tickets gone missing
24 July 2008

Ticketmaster, one of the official ticket agents for Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, has informed the festival organisers that 1250 of Ticketmaster’s allocation of tickets for the festival have gone missing in transit to the company’s Manchester office. As these tickets are now missing, the police have been informed, and customers are advised that if they purchased tickets from Ticketmaster these will be issued as normal by secure post within the next few days. These tickets will be valid for entry. The missing tickets that have been voided and will not gain admission to the festival are ticket numbers: Weekend Adult numbers 2001 - 3000 and 6051 – 6100 and Saturday Adult numbers 301 - 500.

Joe Gibbs, festival organiser of Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival has said, “We advise that customers only purchase tickets from authorised retailers as detailed on our website”.
Ticketmaster has confirmed that it identified that these tickets were missing, following an investigation into the recent loss of tickets for the Live at Loch Lomond event last week through the same courier company. Ticketmaster also confirmed that it is working with the Strathclyde Police and the courier company to investigate this latest loss.

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival takes place on 8th and 9th August near Beauly in Inverness-shire. This year's headliners are Scouting For Girls and The Waterboys. Also playing at the event are Idlewild, The Lemonheads, Sergeant, Cold War Kids, Cage The Elephant, Dreadzone and Jefferson Starship. The festival welcomes all ages and there is a plethora of non-music entertainment on offer as well, including cabaret, street theatre, debate and comedy.

Adult weekend tickets cost £80 and adult Saturday tickets cost £50. Both include parking and camping. As in previous years, tickets for children 12 & under are free. Tickets are available from www.thebooth.co.uk ; www.ticketmaster.co.uk  ; www.ticketline.co.uk ; and from Eden Court, HMV, Hootenanny and Mania in Inverness; One-Up in Aberdeen; Tickets Scotland in Glasgow and Edinburgh; Home & Music in Tain.
