Original Print brings together a collection of hand-made prints that explore the diversity of techniques that come under the banner of printmaking. The exhibition includes screenprints, woodcuts, linocuts, etchings and lithographs by Highland-based artist printmakers and others. There are information panels on the main printmaking techniques and examples of tools and equipment used in the creation of original prints.

Highland Print Studio is based in Inverness and has facilities for etching, screenprinting, relief printing and lithography. It also has a digital media suite, which can be used for digital imaging, video editing and animation. The Studio is used by a range of people from professional artists to complete beginners and anyone can access the facilities by completing an induction course in a technique of their choice.
