The Gathering 2009 which is being held on 25-26 July 2009 at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh are looking for makers and vendors of quality Scottish products to exhibit at this event.

They expect the visitors, many of whom come from overseas will want to buy products made in Scotland. Jewellery, ceramics, artwork, photography, knitwear, fashion items all have a place. They are also looking for craftsmen who specialise in making Highland dress accessories, such as sporrans and skean dhus.

Reference books, antique prints, ancient maps always appeal. Cromachs, bonnets and tartan wellies would certainly fit the bill for those closer to home. This is an opportunity for those with genuine Scottish arts and crafts to display their wares and hopefully, attract new customers.

The organisers of this event will help in creating awareness for all selected vendors by listing them on their website and giving visitors a brief description and a click through to the makers own website.
